CS 9600 CBCT System

Carestream Dental is proud to announce that the CS 9600, its smartest and most advanced CBCT extraoral imaging system, has received a 2020 Cellerant Best of Class Technology Award—the system’s second in a row. This multi-modality machine combines 2D imaging, CBCT imaging, object scanning, 3D facial scanning and optional cephalometric imaging into one powerful platform designed to meet the needs of all oral healthcare providers.

What makes the CS 9600 a winner is its smart technology that aids in first-time-right positioning and leads to more confident diagnoses. Instead of lasers, video cameras are used to help users position patients. Then, interactive guides are projected onto the patient’s face on the system’s integrated SmartPad touchscreen; these guides walk the user through the rest of the process. Additional pre-set programs, quality control tools and auto-detection when the wrong accessory is inserted all lead to capturing the right image on the first try, no matter what the experience level of the user.
